For the first marketing hire

Turn hours of SEO and Google Ads work into recommendations you can review and apply

Clickbuddy runs keyword research, groups topics, recommends page work, generates SEO briefs, and surfaces Google Ads action items automatically. You see the reasoning, adjust what needs judgement, and apply the actions that make sense.

You were hired to grow search, not live inside search tools

SEO lives in your inherited Ahrefs seat. Google Ads lives in its own platform, with settings hidden across too many screens and a Recommendations tab nudging budget increases. Content ideas sit in Notion and priorities live in your head. Every week you choose between manual setup, reporting, backlog cleanup, and explaining to the CEO what search is doing for pipeline.

Your current stack

What you are doing today

Inherited Ahrefs or SEMrush seat

Keyword lookup, site audits, rank tracking

Where it breaks

You get data, not finished decisions. Someone still has to group the keywords, judge business fit, decide page work, and turn the findings into briefs.

Recommended option: A better alternative

Automated keyword research and grouping that comes back with relevance labels, page recommendations, and briefs ready for review.

What you are doing today

Google Ads UI and Recommendations tab

Sometimes with a Google rep pushing budget increases

Where it breaks

The platform shows recommendations, but you still have to decide which ones are safe, find the right screen, and click through the setup. Many suggestions optimise for Google’s reach, not your pipeline.

Recommended option: A better alternative

Account-specific Ads action items with visible reasoning, so you can scan, dismiss, or apply the changes that fit your strategy.

What you are doing today

Notion or Sheets backlog

Hand-maintained, pulling from a mix of tools

Where it breaks

The backlog keeps growing, but nothing tells you which item deserves this week. Every Friday review is a rebuild, and every answer to the CEO starts with “let me pull some numbers.”

Recommended option: A better alternative

A ranked action list across SEO and Google Ads, with each recommendation tied to the cluster, buyer intent, business fit, and channel decision behind it.

For ongoing research, briefs, and Ads work

Where it breaks

The repeatable research, brief, and Ads operations often live outside your account. When the engagement changes, the operating memory changes with it.

Recommended option: A better alternative

The structural work prepared inside your own account. Specialist help stays useful for deep-technical SEO, creative, and high-stakes campaigns; the day-to-day search system stays with you.

That classification changes the work the platform prepares. A topic like “HubSpot alternative” sits at Comparison Intent, so Clickbuddy can recommend a dedicated page and paid-search support. A topic like “CRM spreadsheet template” sits at Problem Intent. It may deserve an SEO brief for trust and links, but Search Ads spend behind it is usually waste for a paid CRM product.

How Clickbuddy prepares the work

Intent Stack

HubSpot, Ahrefs, Intercom, Monday.com, and Zapier show up when buyers compare tools, work through a problem, and form opinions about the market. Clickbuddy uses the Intent Stack to classify each topic by buyer state: Comparison, Product, Problem, Strategic, or Retention.

1

Build awareness

Earlier-intent content earns trust and keeps you top of mind.

Strategic intent Shape demand
Problem intent Build trust
2

Win the customer

High-intent queries cash in the demand you primed.

Product intent Capture demand
Comparison intent Win buyers
3

Grow loyalty

Retention content compounds into word of mouth.

Retention intent Grow lifetime value
Word of mouth feeds new prospects back to the top

Business-fit classification

Buyer intent is not enough. Clickbuddy also judges whether the topic fits your product, customer segment, value arguments, and competitive position.

Every topic group is labelled commercial, must-win, authority builder, tangential, or discard. Commercial and must-win groups can become SEO pages, Ads campaigns, or both. Authority builders may get SEO briefs but usually not Search Ads. Tangential work stays out of the active queue. The point is not another model to memorise; it is a reasoned decision attached to each recommendation.

Cluster

HubSpot alternative

Comparison Intent

Business fit

Commercial

Both labels travel with the cluster into every page brief, campaign, and review.

Growth themes

Growth themes are where the prepared work lands. Each theme holds the customer problem or product area, the grouped keywords, the buyer-intent tier, the business-fit label, SEO recommendations, Ads opportunities, briefs, and action items.

Instead of rebuilding the plan from five tabs every week, you open the theme and see what Clickbuddy prepared, what you approved, what still needs review, and what is already live.

Where to start

Run keyword research agents

Select a research mode: competitor, commercial, integration, or expansion. Clickbuddy runs the research, groups the results into growth themes, and evaluates business fit. About one minute of active setup, then roughly 15 minutes of processing.

Create Google Ads campaigns for missing commercial topics

For commercial or must-win topic groups, use the campaign builder to prepare structure, settings, keywords, and ad copy from your stored business context. You review before launch instead of building from a blank Google Ads screen.

Review SEO recommendations for the new growth themes

Clickbuddy surfaces what to do with each topic group: create a page, improve an existing page, merge overlapping pages, or leave it alone. Generate a brief with ranking evidence and SERP context when you are ready to write or update a page.

Review action items for existing Google Ads campaigns and SEO pages

Existing campaigns get a queue of recommended fixes across budgets, bidding, settings, keyword coverage, creative, audiences, and account health. Most supported Ads actions can be applied directly or through a guided flow after you review the reasoning. SEO recommendations link back to the page or topic group they affect.

Before you sign up

How long does setup take?
Connecting accounts normally takes under 30 minutes. Business context is the other half: customer segments, jobs to be done, value arguments, and competitors. You can have first recommendations ready in under an hour, with research and Ads workflows usually running in roughly 15 minutes each.
Do I have to rip out Ahrefs or SEMrush?
No. Keep them for ad-hoc lookups if you like. Clickbuddy is where the repeatable work gets prepared: research runs, grouping, business-fit judgement, SEO recommendations, briefs, Ads action items, and campaign setup.
Does this help with both SEO and Google Ads, or mostly one?
Both, by design. Clickbuddy uses the same business context and buyer-intent logic to decide whether a topic needs a page, a campaign, both, or neither. SEO work becomes briefs and page recommendations. Ads work becomes action items, prepared campaigns, and reviewable changes.

You do not need to become the SEO specialist, paid-search specialist, and strategist at the same time. Clickbuddy prepares the work so you can review the logic and apply the right actions.
